Hello,
Here you can find some basic exercises, or “Excelsises” if you prefer, that might help you get started.
It’s not much, but we’ve only just begun.
I strongly recommend that you explore the software on your own: mess around, discover, create, destroy, click every button… and then, do not save the file! Hehe.
- On the Excel sheet, write the number “4” in cell “A1” and the number “10” in cell “B1”
In cell “A3” write “Sum”
In cell “A4” write “Subtraction”
In cell “A5” write “Multiplication”
In cell “A6” write “Division”
Now write functions in the adjacent cells to display the result of each corresponding operation between the two numbers
- Color the result cells blue and center the values inside the cells.
- Convert the numbers to currency format.
Solution 1)
=A1+B1
=A1-B1
=A1*B1
=A1/B1
Solution 2)
Select the cells that contain the values, go to the “Home” tab, and click the arrow next to the letter “A” with the red underline. Change the color from there.
Move to the “Alignment” section and click the center alignment button in the second row.
Solution 3)
In the “Number” section, click the button with the banknote and coins icon.
