Hi there!
In a totally amateur way, I’m putting together some videos that explain the basics of this amazing program.
I decided to do it through video because, quite literally today, I discovered this Microsoft tool called Clipchamp, and I wanted to give it a shot.
I needed a way to talk to you without actually talking to you in person.
Everything you see here is 100% me: I’m the one using Excel, writing the script, and editing the video.
No one is paying me for this, and although Clipchamp (at this level) is basically “video editing for dummies”, especially since I used one of their built-in templates for the cool intro, it still took me a solid three hours to put this together! 😄
Hopefully, I’ll get the hang of it and get faster in the future.
For now, please be kind and take this as a first trial.
Video editing and content creation are not my job, and they’re not meant to be.
If you’re curious about trying Clipchamp yourself, especially if you want to record your screen, there’s one thing to know:
If you share a single application window, dropdown menus won’t show up in the final video.
That’s because Clipchamp only records the layer you selected.
To avoid this (and yes, you’ll notice a bunch of awkward cuts in my video because I didn’t know), just record your entire screen instead. That way, it works smoothly.
If you’d like a short page on how I used Clipchamp, feel free to send me some feedback.
I might put something together.
Thanks a lot, and I hope you enjoy the video! 😊
